I'm an aspiring tattoo artist looking for more unique ways to display my art. At the root of my aspirations to be a tattoo artist is my belief that art appreciation is through action. I want my art to be scraped on railings and curbs rather than hung on a wall. I would be so excited to see my art career getting kicked off by seeing my art on the bottom of skaters boards.
I have always loved the skate community and their willingness to march to the beat of their own drum. I recently began skating and found that the people were (for the most part) so unique in their pursuit. My first day at the park I was surrounded by people with all sorts of styles and personalities that made me feel so deeply inspired.
I am not particularly inspired to leave a mark in the skate community as a skater, but if I could have a breeze of an impact on just a few riders through my art in the form of a board, that;s all I could really ask for.
