Omo Zanga was founded in Michigan on August 6th, 2021, as a new fashion/lifestyle brand that expresses contemporary street culture and esthetic through the lens of common humanity and Motherland identity. The Omo Zanga fashion brand strives to introduce elements of pan-African identity and culture to the world of high-end streetwear fashion. Our philosophy is that the human race shares a common origin in the Motherland (known to colonizer as Africa) and that we have more in common than not. Our motto “Ile Lati Kesho Rode,” a Yoruba adage loosely translated to mean “charity begins at home,” beckons humankind to look back at their origin with the right intentions. Our designs are created to evoke this ideology, through the media of urban/street culture and style, all while placing a spotlight on modern day issues plaguing humanity. Since its inception, Omo Zanga has been making a fashion statement in ready-to-wear and custom fashion apparel for all humankind, from all walks of life, who embrace our philosophy.
