Project 589’s goal is to help give kids all around the world the physical, creative, social, and independent outlet of skateboarding. Project 589 sells skateboarding goods and apparel and accepts donations, all as a non-profit to raise money for our partner organizations, chosen for their facilitation of skateboarding in local communities. A part of our mission. is to fight against the stigma around skateboarding and give it a much more positive look. Our name originated from the town I grew up in that had an ordinance that banned skateboarding named ordinance 589. Please check out our website Project589.com.
