Skateboard Press

A skateboard press is the heart of any skateboard manufacturer. Our presses can handle high production wile keeping the quality in tact. We press 4 boards in a mold to keep the concave consist ant. Other makers press one board at a time using a heated curing process. We think of this as a problem. If there is any imperfection in the veneer as a raised grain of wood it will take on more pressure and relieve other areas of the board of pressure making a weak spot on the deck. Yes hot press with only one deck per mold is fast production style but does not keep quality in mind. When pressing 4 decks in a mold with any thicker parts of the ply will be compensated by denting it into other ply's. Having 28 ply's of wood in a mold there is plenty of room for any kind of imperfections to be smashed into other ply's making sure that every ply has contact with each other making a quality bond with the glue.
